Too old for sneakers?
Other folks have recommended variants on this, but have you tried plimsolls (canvas upper, rubber soles) in a plain color? Running shoes are hideous no matter how old you are.- contrarycomet

Pretty good weekend. Lots of bits and pieces, but the highlights were: * Older Burberry DB trench coat. * Zegna for Wilkes Bashford SC. Includes a label that says "Centoventimila" -- I think this refers to the fabric, but anyone know for sure?- contrarycomet

A great shirt that matches nothing I own...
Well in any case, it dresses down well with some dark jeans, so all is not lost. That's a clue, IMO. The physical styling (cloth, collar) is that of a more formal shirt, but the color says casual. Motorcycle gear
I've commuted using an Aerostich for 10+ years (Seattle WA, and SF, CA) and highly recommend it. It's made to be worn over regular clothing, and you can wear it over a sportcoat/suit.- contrarycomet
