Official Sales Alert thread - sales, coupon and discount codes

Seems like less and less relevant stuff to buy on Mr. Porter every year. At least I used to get socks, now those don't even look good. Good thing is I don't need anything. :-)

    An SF lesson learned....

This sounds like a statement someone with a guilty conscience would make........ I was convinced you were the culprit until I checked your stats. Being a size 9/9.5, I always seem to come across great shoes that are either really big or really small. I'll pm you if I come across any great...

Sorry you got sniped on eBay, but at least you are size 13 and you shouldn't have trouble finding great deals in the future.

    Averaged faces of women

Image source? I'm curious. This is my livelihood, in a way... Based on the posting of this on reddit, it originally came from the Dienekes' Anthropology Blog, but I can't find it there. Here is an interesting link that lets you average faces and see what they look like...

    F.....U..... Mabitex

I've had similar problems with side seams on Mabitex cotton trousers, but nothing obscene like this. At least a tailor can easily fix a split seam. Overall, the quality of the construction isn't good.

its just a personal preference as i like boring watches like the a. lange and sohn posted above, but your favorite watch seems way too busy. Good point. Maybe that's why I wear my plain watches most of the time and rarely wear this one.

Dress pants, a few questions- J. Banks vs Others

If you buy the Jos Banks pants for 50% off the clearance price, you can get them for around $30 each. It is a great deal for all wool pants if you don't mind full cut trousers.

Nice pic. I love my VPI rig. Is that a ZYX cartridge? What other components do you use? It is a ZYX Airy 3. I also have a Lyra Dorian mono with a separate arm for mono playback. What polish to use with the infamous color 8

Use venetian cream. It works well and brings out a nice shine.

    Belt shortening

Use the extra 3cm x 10 inch piece as a travel shoe horn. In a pinch, a belt is a nice shoe horn and this is just about the right size for travel.

    Gitman Brothers Vintage

I have several Gitman shirts that were from Saks, and I'm assuming they are the same fit as Gitman vintage.
