The heel was coming off almost all the way around and I didn't want to pull it completely off just to find out if it was nailed. I'm not one to abuse my footwear, I'm wearing canvas converse that are older than these boots right now and have some cheap clarks that have held up for almost 2 years now...but I received these 6 weeks ago and the heel to my right boot is about to fall off and the topy on both is also coming...- tit_tyrant

Does this apply to the nubuck boots? Word, I was planning on just waterproofing but some responses made it sound like you should oil them too. I'm assuming those were directed toward anyone with the oil tanned leather boots?- tit_tyrant

I dunno if I could be any more accurate with a ruler or something than by telling you I just sized down 1 and was given the EE width. I guess some people may have specified they wanted a different width? I was just told to size down one and not given the option to select a width, but the fit is...- tit_tyrant

Got my nubuck in 9EE and wear a 10C or D normally. Fit perfectly and seem to be fairly comfortable without insoles. Will stomp through Spain in these in a couple weeks.- tit_tyrant

Are these chunky/bulky when worn? Some boots turn out to be huge ass when worn even though the sizing was spot on.
