    I also have 'beaters' in my collection and then a smaller selection of shoes I only wear occasionally. The reason is not the wear, but because I want to be able to wear a more pristine pair on times that it matters without first having to clean or polish the sneakers/shoes.

    If worn in rotation, and if the shoe is the correct fit for your foot, I'd say the sneakers could easily go for 3, 4 or even 5 years. There are multiple examples of this online from sneakers using Margom soles. Same goes for the uppers, if they are conditioned correctly and worn in rotation.

    Not sure why I'd need to check those out? They make a good looking shoe, yes, but their sneakers are also just side stitched. In terms of being able to resole the shoes or not, they are no different than Vekla sneakers?
