    I really like the fit (and on-sale price) of the University Chino, but I've had really bad luck with the stitching. I don't think I'm particularly hard on clothes but I've had to re-sew seams on three different pairs, which I've never had to do before.

    I've bought OP frames via eBay twice (both Rileys, actually) and had no problems. I don't think you have to worry too much about fakes with any major mover of OPs. FWIW, every pair of OPs I've had (five or so) has been made in Japan.

    I'm in the US and have no idea what it might cost. One might be better off just finding a proxy. There's always a chance that US customer service might be able to get ahold of it, but I'm just speculating.
