Higher rise does generally mean more room in the seat, if you’re not filling that out then yeah, it’ll be baggy. You could try wearing it a bit higher, google Bret Contreras, or ship it off to Denim Surgeon to shorten the back rise, not super cheap but they do pretty good work if it’ll salvage...- Brian278

I can’t speak to the skinnier Oni cuts, but secret denim regularly stretches 1.5-2” inches at the waist, so work off the measurements on the retailers website accordingly. Thanks - I bought them knowing they may only see regular wear during a short time of the year but I really like heavier wools for their drape and texture vs. paper-thin tropical weight.
