    I just bought a hoodie for the 1st time. I've only got collared shirts which seem to me a bit odd to wear under it? The collar gets in the way. It's cold here so a tshirt won't be warm enough. Do people usually wear a collared shirt under a hoodie?

    Yes I wear them at work with my elbows resting on the chair a lot. They are Charles Tyrwhitt 100% cashmere v-necks.

    My cashmere jumpers keep wearing out after a few months. They get torn in the elbows especially. Maybe wool is more durable?

    Good point. For occasions that require black tie or weddings I usually hire a tux or morning suit.

    I've kept all my casual clothes, it's just my work clothes I dont need anymore.

    As I'm now working from home permanently, I've given a lot of my work clothes to charity or recycled. Eg my tailored suits, bespoke suit shoes etc. Anyone else in the same boat?

    I've just learnt you are apparently not meant to wear down jackets in the rain because it loses its insulation ability. is that the same for Canada Goose jackets?
