    Penny Loafer Appreciation Thread

Would penny loafers go with pants like these? http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/pants/bowerypants/PRDOVR~90312/90312.jsp I'm broke and need a new pair of shoes that would go with shorts, jeans and dress pants.

Talking stocks, trading, and investing in general

That among a 1,000 other sites and listen to the opinions of many investors. The drawing down bank reserves wasn't anything to do with ZH, at least not an article I read. I however have read several articles putting the pieces together of Fed's actions recently to show why that is an option. But...

BAC is still **** even if Buffet put 5 billion in. Didn't keep Goldman Sachs from going down again in the future. I still think there are shorting opportunities there. Silver in the long run is still a great bet, whenever the Fed does it's next market support which will be inflationary, it will...

    Outside sales?

Contracts. For businesses to buy from us. Thinking of the rep's that came to the store I worked at for a few years and how they went about things. I sat in on several meetings where they would try to get my boss to carry their products. Often they brought coffee and food, might try that? Need...

    Outside sales?

Just selling shoes for a few years. Very laid back full service shoe store. Worked on several political campaigns. Even at one point was running for local city commission. So I have much experience with people, especially the wealthy.

Talking stocks, trading, and investing in general

It'll be mostly in the red until the next bond purchasing program starts and the debt ceiling is lifted. Well assuming they can keep inflating this bubble with quantitative easing. Eventually the fundamentals will deteriorate so much it'll pop and we'll be back in panic mode and a flash crash...

    Outside sales?

About to start my first job in outside sales. Any tips? Assuming it's going to be hard getting businesses to sign contracts and cold calling.

    Size charts.

I didn't know they do that. Thank you!

    Size charts.

I'm 5'4", 120lbs, so I'm not sure what to say, like I said I haven't worn those brands, so they could be off. I can say for sure though that despite what Gap's size chart says, their x-smalls should fit you perfectly. I know I'll get hate for mentioning Gap, but if you're looking for fit, I know...

    Size charts.

5'5'' 125 lbs. Between a large and x-large fit perfectly in BB and Ralph Lauren boys.

    Size charts.

Are most size charts from the major retailers like JCrew/Brooks Brothers/Ralph Lauren off? My chest is 35 and waist is 28. According to JCrew's size chart I should be able to wear an x-small, but they're always too big. Same with other brands, I fit their x-small/small size charts they have but...

The single DUMBEST thing you have ever done in your life...

I did a lot of stupid things as a kid, I had a lot of fun. I think the dumbest was when I threw a bottle rocket in the toilet and it blew out the bottom. I was a bored kid.

Is it disirable to work in London, coming from Florida?

I would say go. The UK is amazing and Florida is ****. I hate this damn state. Nothing worse than the south.

In your group of friends are you the most well dressed?

Yes and I usually dress casual. Around here wearing a nice polo is "dressing up".
