    Buzz Words that are annoying

I'll say it again: GREEN. I am soo sick of hearing chemical, car, and oil companies brag about how green they are. It's like everybody flicked a switch, and now there's no problem because we're all green. The on that really annoys me is the arrowhead water commercial:"Our bottles are 30% less...

    Favorite Beers...

I was but I sure didn't see anything like that in Yaletown. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I would have gotten tanked. Have you actually had it or is the maple they use too light for your tastes? Yer right, Yaletown Brewery doesn't have a maple ale IIRC. Their brown ale is excellent. I also had a...

My tastes are changing from strong, sickly sweet Belgian-style ales to flat, dark and malty British-style ales. Strong Suffolk Vintage Ale really sticks out in my mind as being a winner. Hard to find though.

    Lunges: Pick your poison

To get that big would be like a disability. I'm 6'6" and around 220lbs right now, and add 100lbs of muscle to get close to those guys would make sports impossible, and traveling (cars, airplanes, trains, etc.) harder than it already is at my size. To get a lot bigger I'd lose a lot of speed...

    Dry aged...

Nice looking roasts gents. Never tried dry aging... I usually slow cook the cheapest roasts I can find in a crock pot. The resulting roast is incredibly tender, flavourful and juicy. Usually get a really good gravy from the drippings too and vegetables that taste like meat (the best kind). Are...

Looking for a pair of Clarks desert boots in size 9.5 or 10 (US, not UK). Prefer sand suede, but interested in chestnut suede if you got it. Prefer condition new to very good. Nothing too worn inside or on the sole, but a little dirty on the outside is fine. Trading references available.
