Thanks for the input. I passed on it. Definitely agree with you that the fit felt off. Seeking other suits in the $400-500 range. Next trial is SuitSupply.

Some better pics of the J. Crew suit. A 36S would've been perfect, but this is the remaining suit in-store (36R). Thoughts? Thanks.

I'm a big supporter of EG FW stuff. This SS13 season may very well be my first foray into copping SS jawnz. I'll be waiting for the paisley suit.

Fix up the fit, this should be good to go. Like an above poster said, I'll keep an eye on this.

I really wanted a Soutain Collar Jacket/Mac for the upcoming spring weather, but that $100 Soutain Collar Jacket is laughably bad. Material is ridiculously thin. Wait until heavy discounts.

I cuffed the pants in the picture above; they're actually 2-3 inches longer than shown. Come to think of it, the jacket was definitely a bit long, which is why I needed a second opinion. Guess that's a no.

Looking for opinions on this J. Crew suit, wondering if I should buy. Notes: - First suit jacket that actually covers ****** - Jacket size: 36R / pants: 30x30 - Was in a rush to take pictures; sleeves are a bit longer irl. Can be shortened. - I cuffed the pants to see how they would look...

You're damn right I did, haha. Didn't scoop up the other XS stuff because I felt bad for my fellow SFers who are trying to rep the Nepenthes brands hard (or maybe because I'm a broke college student). I just usually email asking for outerwear (e.g. Bedford/Landsdown) in size XYZ, shirts in...

^ They should fade, but just be aware that the fit is very much a full cut (don't expect APC NS/PS fit).

gdl - great post. Nice tumblr as well. Looking for some non-iron dress shirts for work (business formal everyday for me). Besides BB, any recommendations ($50-60)? I need to pick up ~6-7. Thanks.

Lol, those underwear jawnz definitely caught me by surprise. Makes sense that they're part of the Nepenthes home line. I'm a XS in the Bedford; Landsdown had same sizing (though a bit tighter). What size are you in the Andover?

    Engineered Garments FW 2012

Stopped by the store today; picked up the Indigo Railroad jacket. It fit perfectly on me (XS). I suggest you guys go. Lots of stuff in all sizes (S-L); some sick Intermediates outerwear pieces in size M, especially the floral olive sateen material on a similar-looking Coleman jacket piece...

^ If I recall correctly, it's a longer shirt/soft skirt. It'll be released soon. That styling is really on point, imo. All of the soft skirt/layering styling by EG is ridiculously clean.

^ Nice fades. Those aren't the newer MIJ, right? That red tag is from 2008-2010, I believe. I have the same red tag on my T000 from 2009.
