    Bespoke Silk Plush Top Hat

Full Flared Bell Crown Top hats started in popularity in the late 1810's, however the added slim waistline only came into play around 1850 when long oval blocks became common.

    Bespoke Silk Plush Top Hat

I was speaking of the production method. Under contractual agreement I am not able to speak about production now. Comrade, this particular style crown with the slim waistline was a bespoke offering typically associated with the 1890's-1919. Although on rare occasional order into the late 1950's...

    Bespoke Silk Plush Top Hat

While I can't yet reveal much information about production I wanted to share my new bespoke silk plush top hat in which I collaborated with another hatter to recreate the phoenix from the ashes. I chose the extreme full crown as the first model made again, as I personally find it the most...

HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

Given the current state of the Western World, I have fully embraced my Reactionary social/political values, and incorporated Regency Attire into my broader Neoclassical (Revival) style wardrobe as someone who shapes their values through aesthetics. I am sure I will catch fire for posting...

It is Velour Belgian Hare I had custom made per my specifications by Fepsa Felters in Portugal. I worked a proper polish with the main ingredient being white vinegar, also adding a mixture of triple refined coconut oil in heated liquid form and water as a light base coat.

Many areas of Los Angeles are like that as well. I never imagined in a million years, but thankfully San Diego is following suit. Just the Era we live in.

The Hat with it's suppressed waist and extra long oval narrow block is more evocative of the 1890's-1910's. It really balances my face, however a more Regency Style Top Hat, would really flare out with little to no suppression in the waist and not a narrow profile, as extra long oval hat blocks...

HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

A few years back I designed and adopted a modernization of Regency menswear with the innovations of the past 140 years. Something I have wanted to do since I was 3 or 4 years old but was difficult to convince myself if going against the grain this hard was worth it. Ultimately, as I approach 40...

Nice to see someone else wearing that brand Lev. I have a Sartoria Castangia suit I purchased around one year ago. It is one of the only Italian suits I own I put in common rotation due to its more formal details.

The "Casual" model collars from Darcy Clothing just arrived. I am quite happy with it's formality. It has a traditional beeswax shine with almost concrete like stiffness.
