    Kitschy Stylish Songs

Nice thread. Not sure if they quite fit the bill, perhaps more contemporary than you were thinking, but a few Fantastic Plastic Machine songs come to mind: First Class '77 Samba de Minha Namoradinho Whistle Song Belinda May (Morricone remix) Here's Morricone's original too

Everyone tells me I need to "go out" and "meet people"

^ +1 People around here can be pretty goddamn elitist. I was browsing one of the old 'What are you Wearing' threads and some guy, forget who, had an A&F button down shirt with some raw denim. The shirt fit better than the denim (looked like too sized down imo), but just the brand of the...

    Thoughts on Hickey (hickeystyle.com)

What's with all the stoner ****? Who buys a belt with a goddamn marijuana leaf on it? Some of the looks aren't bad tho.. anyone have any experience with their cords?

Delete 10 friends from your facebook and get a free burger

Whopper Sacrifice: Ditch 10 Friends, Get a Free Whopper Hahah I love this. There are a few people on my list that I met like once that I'd def trade for a burger

Would you recommend a first car (for a 22 y/o)?

This should be obvious to even the densest of morons. Suggesting against used cars because your buddies bought out of warranty luxury cars with accident damage is laughable. As I said early, both were low-mileage, not to mention from reputable dealers. Nevertheless, I advised them against...

    L.L. Bean - superior customer service (?)

Great story. Returns with L.L. Bean are always a breeze.

i am in the market for a new (beautiful and sexy) cellphone

You should checkout the Samsung U600. This thing is so thin it is unbelievable. I bought this phone last year from http://www.mobilecityonline.com , love it. Never had a battery life problem but then again I charge every night.

How do you get "movie star" white teeth?

Not all products work, though. Those strips never worked for me. Me either. Then again I could only get about halfway thru because they made my teeth ridiculously sensitive. I swear they must strip the enamel or something.

Alfa Romeo - Grand Prix and Sports Cars

    Googles hates teh environment

A few weeks ago I convinced a coworker (she was a big McCain/Palin fan) that Obama was considering shutting down the internet due to the recession. Had a bunch of people in on it. Fun times.

Alfa Romeo - Grand Prix and Sports Cars

Nurburgring is open for anyone to drive right? I'm not too familiar with it but I work at a private track and people talk about it quite a bit. I take it from all those awesome mid-air pics that there are a lot of elevation changes eh?

    Stupid G Commercial

Those 'I'm a Mac' ads really annoyed me. The Mac is supposed to be superior because he's a smug metrosexual asshole? And the polite 'stable' PC guy gets ridiculed? What kind of values are those to promote? That said, it definitely generated a lot of buzz, which I suppose is the point.

    The F Word (Gordon Ramsay)

?? Most of them are quite average. Dude, you need to get out more. I think we need to up your "girls that are hot" meter. I loved when he told that obese black girl that she has a non-existent palet and that she clearly loves her food. I ******* love this man. I saw that episode. "I can see...

Help me pack for study abroad in Europe

I'd say to stick with colors that'll work with the rest of the stuff, which shouldn't be hard. Sounds like you've got a lot of monochrome and such. I'm partial to blues and greens. Sperry's are nice and flexible, but aesthetically I like the sole better on the originals Don't have much...

Would you recommend a first car (for a 22 y/o)?

Offering a friendly reply is grounds for derision? **** off. To the OP, I forgot to add that I'd avoid used cars. My friends who went that route (an Audi A8 and a BMW Z4) ended up with mechanical issues and neither car had high mileage. Parts for both were naturally expensive and hard to track...

    New Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W212)

I'd swear from far away that it's like a giant ford focus or an acura. Yea it resembles a TL from the side

    Personal trainers

I hired one several years ago because I wanted to get into working out but didn't have the time to research routines etc. My advice would be to learn a routine and how to use stuff then go solo cause it'll get pricey pretty quick.

Help me pack for study abroad in Europe

^ Yea, keep it as minimal as possible. I overpacked on study abroad and I was charged a hefty fee by the airline for exceeding the weight limit. I also didn't end up wearing some stuff due to weather, etc. I would def not bring something you'll only wear once or twice
