    WTF, Browne?

I wonder how much longer he can keep that up and when he's going to have to come up with a new gimmick to stay popular. ************************************* To be a formidable fashion designer, is a daunting task. Each collection must be different, while staying faithful to the designer's...

    Yogurt

Best yogurt (available in US)? Fage Total (strained), made in Greece. Hands down... I've never tried it. Thanks for the tip. http://www.fageusa.com/products.html

    Yogurt

I hope you have good luck! There's a Greek cookie, called a kourambiathe. It's a butter cookie, topped with powdered sugar. Outstanding, with yogurt. My grandmother always added some whiskey to her kourambiathes. Baking season is comin' up. I'll have some recipes to post.

    Yogurt

Are you a fan? If so, which brand of store bought yogurt do you prefer? My grandmother always made her yogurt, at home. Luscious and textural. Especially with honey and nuts, for good measure. Have you ever tried making yogurt? How did it turn out?

Do you wear brown with navy or charcoal?

^^ I like that. In Greek, we say 'xoriatis, or xoriatisa.' Means 'country bumpkin.'

    Opinions on This Isaia Overcoat?

If you own plenty of overcoats, this one might be fun to own and to accessorize. If you're planning on one, major investment, I'd consider something less conspicuous.

Need a scarf to go with my Navy Cashmere Overcoat

You have many choices available. Personally, I happen to love taupe with navy. Loden green, as well. Depends too, on the shade of the navy. Some navy leans toward indigo/purple, other navy has more green.

Do you wear brown with navy or charcoal?

I love brown with navy. I love black with navy. Gray and brown mixed, make taupe. My favorite neutral. Experimenting with neutrals can create many intriguing, sometimes offbeat effects.

SportCoat with Attached Zip front Sweater

Sounds like 'mock' trompe loeil. I wouldn't invest in it. Reversible is unappealing to me as well.

    1950s Italy.

The band on the hat is about the same height as the trouser cuff. The belt is a little narrower. Wide tie, narrow lapels; the spread collar plays rhythmically against them. This reminds me of how my grandfather and his friends looked, out on the town. They didn't have lots of clothes, but...

Doctor: Pro wrestler Benoit's concussions may have contributed to killings of wife, s

Interesting too, that similar crimes are committed by people who have not suffered skull injuries, have not indulged in steroid use, and appear not the least bit headed toward a murderous direction. I knew a man who awoke one Saturday, shot his baby daughter and his wife, then drove to his...

    Exotic Upholstery.

That coat has a Galanos look, to it. One of my cousins owned a monkey fur hat. I think it was from Lily Dache. Dyed greenish black, trimmed in coq feathers. About Vivre, the current catalogue includes offerings from a number of international names: Naeem Khan, Francisco Costa, Marie Cristophe...

Advice on what to wear >>

Chances are you'll end up in an air-conditioned environment, correct? Even so, in that heat you're to be commended for dressing up. Chicagoland has been miserable, for the past six weeks or so . . . still in the nineties. Makes it a challenge to look crisp and turned out, for dressy occasions...

    Exotic Upholstery.

I love tortoise-shell. My mother always wore tortoise-shell sunglasses. My sister owns a black Saint Laurent suit in grain de poudre, with tortoise-shell buttons at each lapel. Worn with a chiffon animal print blouse, from the same line. It is out of this world. The Vivre catalogue is always...

What is your favorite 5 songs?

^^^ yes. I'm familiar with that song. No Matter What Sign You Are is another stinker from the Supremes, that I enjoy. Love Child is my all time favorite, Motown melodrama. I watched the Supremes debut that song live, on Ed Sullivan. First time I'd seen an 'afro' hairdo on Diana Ross.
