    MyTailor (Hemrajani Bros.) Appreciation/Discussion Thread

I had a good experience with the shirt I purchased, my first shirt I took the chance and bought a higher end fabric, but he nailed the measurements. I wouldn't change anything.

My experience is the same, the shirt looks and feels great.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I will sleep on it and see how i feel once it is pressed. It does have a more classic feel similar to some of my older suits so I will get use to it I guess.

Thanks, but I do have an idea of what a good suit feels like. I will see after I get things pressed.

Very true. It is a learning experience for sure.

I like the fabric pattern, it just feels stiffer than the sample.

It is more than that, as I mentioned earlier the pants are too wide and the feel of the interior seems odd. I do not have a problem with the overall fit. The pants just need an adjustment. The buttons also feel cheap compared to my other suits. But everything else is ok. Again, I expected a...

Divij mentioned that this is a hand made suit so in my mind I expected an upgrade to my previous MTM suits and honestly I am not seeing it which is why I made the 'quality garment' comment. I guess my expectation for a suit of this nature was inflated. It is not a bad suit, it just feels average.

The fabric felt rough considering it was VBC super 110 and the feel did not seem premium to me. Maybe it will feel better once I get it pressed but it just felt off to me.

Because I have purchased DB MTM suits for the same price as a 2 button.

I did not do a basted fitting as he said with my physique I did not need it. Even though, I expected better craftsmanship for an over $1,000 MTM suit. I doubt adding the basted would have made it better, in fact it probably would have made me more disappointed.

I don't know, I did not ask, Divij mentioned that they charge extra and they don't do a ticket pocket with a double breasted even though that's what I add on all my DBs.

Thanks Mark and everyone I feel a bit better about it, and I may have him tweak the fit but I don't understand why it cost extra for a double breasted.

Lanieri just uses a cedar hanger but it feels heavier. I did not think the Divij hangers were actually wood. I will check again.

I did not go with the basted fitting it was straight to finish. I was mainly underwhelmed because of the fact that it was not a double breasted and it did not feel like a quality garment. Interestingly when I went for the fitting I was wearing an Lanieri suit, which It tooks about one extra...

Wow, that's crazy, I was actually going to go with them first before I picked Divij, mainly from all the positive comments here.

With time my mind may change, I guess for me as a designer I expect a bit more when it comes to the packaging for high end items and I was taken back when I saw the box with a wrinkled suit in it. I will take it to Parkway Cleaners next week and get it properly pressed and see if I feel better...

In my mind, I thought I ordered a double breasted and I was excited to see it which immediately gave me buyers remorse but that is my mistake not theirs. The box is really bad I mean come on! I received the hanger but it did not feel quality. Again, the fit is good and the construction is good...

Just received my first suit from Divij, and I am not excited about it. This fit is fine but overall I do not think that it feels like a "Bespoke" suit. Part of my disappointment is that I thought I asked for a double breasted but I now recall that I did not order it and it a 2 button notch lapel...
