The trials and tribulations of a man and his toothbrush - The story of my business

Master-Classter awesome ideas. I've been working with a couple bloggers/instagram/youtubers to get some traction. It's been an interesting journey, to say the least. My favorite are the synthetic bristle - 1930 Series. They're heavily... heavvvily inspired by vintage brushes, and feel...

The trials and tribulations of a man and his toothbrush - The story of my business

This isn’t a “I made 50k a month selling online in 2 months” bullshit post. Rather, this is the story of a guy who had an idea for a product that didn’t really exist (sort of, kinda) and tried to make **** happen… And fell on his face a few times in the process. I wasn't going to post - but I...

    Cars We Drive!

One of my tenants works at a BMW dealership, so I had the opportunity to drive the new 2 series the other day. After spending loads of time in the 128 and 135, I can say that I have an instant love/hate relationship with the new 2. Love: It's more comfortable. All the Canadian cars come...

    Cars We Drive!

My business partner has a 335IS. After many track days, canyon drives, etc, I like it better as much as the M3. But, 1M > all for driving experience.

    Blackberry 10

Not reading this thread.... However, having used a Lumia 920, Motorola Razr HD (my favorite), and my trusty iPhone 5 (terrible battery life) over the last 6 months... My Blackberry Q10 is horrible. Cons - I'm on my third software refresh. - The lack of applications is seriously an issue (I...

Small business owners: iPad Point of Sale experiences?

3rd interested. We use a Moneris POS, which is good... But the hardware (tower) provided is useless.

    F1 fans, Montreal anyone?

I'm part of a local group-buy. Section 24, very top row. Gives us the ability to stand up without hindering anybodies view, and we can see when the toilets are empty. A huge plus.

I'll be there. However, I've lost my tickets somewhere in my house. Nightmare!

    Property Share Advice

I've done this, albeit it was on income properties. We spoke with various lawyers, and eventually we ended up with a VERY detailed document, that you might say is similar to a co-habitation agreement. It states what will happen in every event imaginable. I view it as an insurance policy. The...

    Cars We Drive!

The only car service around here would fall into "taxi" category anywhere else in the world. We have a couple of escalade limos, and early 2000 vintage town cars. 200k people, and quite blue-collar.

    Cars We Drive!

^^ I've priced out some fairly capable lifts for ~$2500 cnd... Considering the amount of labor I'm sure the 355 requires to replace those things, might pay a hefty portion of the lift! On a side note - I need you guys to talk me out of my next car purchase. I'm still very happy with my Audi...

Thinking of starting a clothing company. Talk me out of it.

Go store to store. Find a few smaller shops willing to pedal your product, and the name will catch. Take out some space in a retailer magazine, such as MR, and buy space in trade shows. It's not as crazy as everybody thinks. But coming up with nice product? That's the hard part.

    Cars We Drive!

A group of us drove the Cabot Trail (Cape Breton) this past weekend. A guy had a 335is, and just made the move from PS2's to PSS, and is blown away. Not to mention, they're a much better price! I'd throw a STRONG recommendation at Bridgestone RE-11(s). Best tire I've ever had Oh, and get...

    Cars We Drive!

You'll go through two rears to one front. BMW mantra. You're in an E60 M5 aren't you? My old E60 (545i) was the absolute hardest car on tires I've ever owned. What are you running for rubber?
