    Rider Boot Company

The hiking boots are really great too! How does one care for the Grey Roughout Italian Calf with a Waxed Finish? Like on would care for suede? Thrown off by the "waxed finish" part, as the waxed suedes I see online have that slicked back look ;)

Skoaktiebolaget – Enzo Bonafé, Saint Crispin’s, Löf & Tung

Isn't part of the beauty of Bonafé the hand welting??? Blake stitching is done by machine is it not? I'm not sure there is a quality difference but maybe we can get another group for hand welting... 15% upcharge seems like a bargain compared to 50% for Carmina for a (beautiful and well made)...

    Formula 1 - F1 - Current Season Discussion

I should refrain from trying to multi quote when on the run with a bad signal . I was basically agreeing with Jeffrey... Many people don't like the influence Ferrari has, but they do have it and even if other teams don't like it they go along with it... It's tiring to see people bemoaning this...

    Formula 1 - F1 - Current Season Discussion

Who in this world is "given" anything? Ferrari gets what they do because they are Ferrari... Look what happened to FOTA after they left (with Red Bull)... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Formula 1 - F1 - Current Season Discussion

I like Massa, but for him to whine about Bottas - expecting the team to keep Bottas on a leash... Then ignore (an admittedly poorly worded) team order... I just hope Massa doesn't need an "assist" down the road... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Patrik, since you have ahem, "intimate knowledge" of the Bonafe Beauties... What are your thoughts in balmoral boot makeup, with or without medallion?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was actually in line to buy that shoe upon restock... If I really like a shoe, I would tend to like a boot equivalent even moar! Patrik, what are your thoughts on the Burgundy Beauty with or without a medallion in boot form - as you're probably the only who's seen the shoe??

I'd commit with a strong preference for Burgundy and chain stitched Norvegese only (not the rows of stitches). I think sizing in this last is to go with the Carmina Rain equivalent (which I don't have either)... RogerP you in??? ;)

Any traction on the BBBB - (Burgundy Bonafe Bal Boot)??

    Meermin Mallorca Shoes

Anyone try out the Norvegese?? I think I'd likely go for the classic line for well made shoes to wear/beat the heck out of... and possibly the Norvegese because it's so different. Pricing on the LM shoes would be too close to Carmina, and I'd go with Carmina...

Got it - would be a VI think it's gonna be a Green one! This layaway plan (that's how I think/justify it) - I mean preordering makes it that much more painless!

Gregg, I see you're a size VI and believe you are a 54 in Formosa.... I'm a 52 in Valstar Viper (the Veeeper is awesome!) and I believe the 50 Formosa fit me best... size V perhaps for me in SS Merino?

Bonafe - It looks like Roger has the Chiselled? Examples of the Round and Soft Square? My sizes (thinking I would be a 10UK or 44EU) are all sold out or selling out of the current stock! Gotta ordera pair soon to nail down sizing as this MTO materializes!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
