I could very, very easily be wrong (Archive people will know better than me for sure), but I owned a regular one, saw they came out with a relaxed version, thought "ooh, they made it fit normal people," and it ended up being just as tight as a I remembered, just with pockets :)- nicelynice

They "relaxed" aviator is so-called not because it has a relaxed fit, but because it has pockets :puzzled: The jackets are tight with long arms, and will look bad only unless you are a tall, skinny model. I looked like an idiot in it- nicelynice

FWIW, I have kind of the exact opposite issue and usually buy products from US companies (such as electronics or outdoor equipment) locally in Japan (at markup!) so that if something is wrong I can have the retailer deal with the problem rather than trying to ship internationally.
