Wow these are beautiful.. Sand or wait for Honey? Hmmmm

I can understand the sentiment. The competition is annoying and will absolutely drive up prices (retail+resale), this is already happening. I would still consider JMM a niche brand though. I actually just saw my first pair in the wild, at Carbone in NYC. And of course they wore them inside...

Posting my small collection here. I am extremely proud of it, and every frame I've acquired is grail-like to me. I tend to gravitate towards classic frames. The litmus/vibe test is if I can envision myself wearing the frame as I drive a Mercedes 230sl through the sun-soaked south of France. I...

Well look what arrived yesterday from Mexico! Vintage Tortoise is such a stunning color in person, photos absolutely do not do it justice! The Schindler frame shape is just fantastic too. It has that smaller feel like the Devaux, which gives off a classic vibe. I first tried on the Schindler in...

The official name is "Honey", and they are incredible. Coming in both the Vendôme and Yves. I recently became a huge fan of Marigold.. and this is giving Marigold vibes, although not quite the same. I'm not sure if I should hold out for a Marigold (Loewy or Zephirin) or buy the Vendôme Honey.

So many murmurings of these summer releases..! I just want to see all of them all lined out already lol. I hope they all drop together and not spread out..

I saw these on Instagram the other day on a style page that I follow: https://www.tbdeyewear.com/products/sunglasses-welt-eco-honey-bottle-green I know this isn't JMM quality territory, but I think I might snag them based on such an interesting colorway. The JMM Marigold is similar, if not...

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but in this case, yours is absolutely wrong haha. This wirecore pattern is so regal and elegant in comparison..

As a Schindler admirer, can I just say that this is such a beautiful post to see haha.. especially that vintage tort!

What I don't understand is that not one seller that I've seen has put in "100% Authentic" in their listing and also potentially include the receipt / invoice to help further prove authenticity. Ensuring that buyers know that they are buying an authentic product should be priority number one. It...

I don't get matte frames. It certainly cheapens the look IMO.

Looking for opinions on Beluga with the stock Dark Tuscan CR39 lenses. They look different in every photo, so it's hard to tell. Sometimes they are dark dark with a red tone, and other times they are a medium dark brown. If you own a beluga frame, sound off on if you changed the stock lenses or...

Where there's a will there's a way (generally speaking). If you look hard enough, you can pretty much find what you want* *certain highly coveted pairs and colorways excluded from this. I wouldn't say this applies to Enzos though

Sigh... well, I have my doubts about this. Everyone knows the reputation of Luxottica, selling them the brand would literally ruin everything that Jerome has done to build the brand. I guess it depends what he's in this for, the money or building an empire. If this is true, yikes, I'll probably...

A very nice breakdown. Thanks! I wouldn't think the weight difference would be enough to notice in-hand. That's like only 20 grains of rice difference or less lol

Scary how good these are getting. Is this a "Mancrafted" situation, I can't tell. I'd be curious if you had a scale to see how many grams this is VS someone with a retail Vendome weighing theirs..

I've recently become very interested in this brand. They look to be a high quality, and certainly have excellent marketing. I haven't been able to organically find them around town though (NYC). What I find odd is that a Paris-based brand doesn't have their own footprint in their founding city...

Personally, the LF collection is something that I will never desire or covet. Price-wise, I would never be comfortable paying for sunglasses/opticals in that range and the ornamentation isn't my style, especially with the horses, cawing bald eagles, etc.. It's kind of tacky imo. I enjoy...
