The idea that it's a new unisex last would suggest a gentleman and a lady (e.g. if both taking a size 8) would wear the exact same boot. Now dont get me wrong, I have absolutely no issues with both genders wearing the same boot. But isn't it the case that men and women feet are supposed to be...

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

Tricker's treatment of shell stands out more than any other maker in that pricing segment. They really give their shell a gloss. But Tricker's have waved goodbye to shell permanently it would seem. Sad.

Haha. Yea, at Trickers "the lady-the sponge-and the neutral wax" is the solution to all polishing problems

I'll be buying these so i can hike from the kids school car park to the classroom for drop off and pick ups. A definite must for those rainy days. Will be pairing these with my limited edition Barbour waxed raincoat. (how the heck did you know already @Fenners81 ? )

Boots Boots Boots - For Boot Guys Only

@shahtirthak Love the way you plan your shoe wearing for the week at work, and then capture it over different days. There's a method to it :-) But i bet people in your office always say to each other "oh look, theres that guy staring at his feet again. He does it every day" :-)

I take my usual size in both 335 and 365. However. I find 335 to be more comfortable. The 365 tends to be a bit tight/restricted in the throat/instep area. This is all personal and dependent on your feet ofcourse

So an Islay with half bellows tongue is: £737 with 6 participant. £707 with 10 participant. That is MENTAL

Is it just me, or do others find C&J laces on the Islay too short? By the time you swerve up all the speed hooks, there's nothing left of the laces to tie.

Glad to see you adopted my suggestion of going with half bellows tongue on your new tan islay GMTO project. Bravo.

⁰ :-) To add to the record, i own both islay and coniston :-p . They are nice boots. But overly hyped here on SF. So while i like them and own them, I'm not a huge fan either

** Quintessential Crockett & Jones Thread ** (reviews, quality, etc...)

They are shrinking their boot range it seems and concentrating on a "less is more" approach where quality not quantity seems the motto. Just filter and look for "derby boots" on their website, and you realise that their boot collection is now mainly comprising of a varieties of Conistons and...

There was a shell golash brogue also in this orange cotto. I was not into Trickers at the time (2018) and neither was on SF to know about them. Would have loved to be able to buy something in this orange/cotto shell. However, i have heard that Trickers experienced a fair bit of dissatisfaction...

The price of the Bribery and Foulmouth models are a ripoff in my opinion. Sorry, i meant Bibury and Falmouth :-p

The waterfront SS24 collection (on rubber gum wedge soles) almost makes me think as if C&J wanted to give a lot of their machines a rest for the season and carry out maintenance :-p
