The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

This is a poor comparison. The perspective of looking upwards, as you’re photographing these mannequins, would make the gorge appear higher vs looking downwards (ever so slightly in the Hill photo). Unless you’re exceptionally tall, few people would see the gorge as in your photos….all this...

In addition to these changes, it's interesting to notice that the gorge is lower in these new jackets.

The Official Drakes knock-off thread - look-alikes and the producers behind Drakes

Look at H.N. White. They're out of stock at the moment but the composition is what you're looking for. https://www.hnwhite.co.uk/products/navy-blue-spotted-print-scarf

Howlin' makes a good quality beanie in lots of great (Drake's-ish) colors. They've been my favorite and are incredibly warm. They're also well priced. https://morrison.be/collections/king-jammy-hats

The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

I got some on sale and would certainly say they're worth the money at that price point (~125-175 USD). If you learn your size, you can find many lightly worn or new online at comparable prices. Kamakura is commonly recommended as an alternative but I've never handled them. The Armoury has a nice...

The Official Drakes knock-off thread - look-alikes and the producers behind Drakes

This might be better value but no improvement in the price. https://shop.permanentstyle.com/collections/accessories/products/the-nubuck-tote?variant=39552921927779

The (hopefully) definitive thread on NYC tailors

Where do you recommend in Brooklyn, @dukenukem4ever?

The (hopefully) definitive thread on NYC tailors

Who do you all recommend for simple jobs, e.g. trouser and sport coat alterations. My typical alterations are taking in trousers at the waist, hemming, and taking in jackets. I went to Wazin once for alterations on a suit but found him overpriced, and have also read the other dissatisfied...

TLB MALLORCA - OFFICIAL AFFILIATE THREAD - Advice, sizing and reviews

Could anyone suggest sizing advice for the 113 Artista model? I'm a 9.5 E in the Meermin Hiro last.

PARABOOT APPRECIATION THREAD 2018 - NEWS, PICTURES, CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES, ETC.

Well this makes me glad I didn't buy a pair of Paraboots I was eyeing on both sites earlier this season.

PARABOOT APPRECIATION THREAD 2018 - NEWS, PICTURES, CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES, ETC.

I noticed this about these two merchants this year, both Cettire and Italist had relatively big sales on Paraboot. For what it's worth the Avoriaz is on sale at Cettire: the classic color less so than this black style. Have you had poor experiences with them @whorishconsumer?

PARABOOT APPRECIATION THREAD 2018 - NEWS, PICTURES, CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES, ETC.

I was wondering this same thing too. I don't know for sure. If I had to guess, I'd say there's only one model out there (not one with or without contrasting stitching). The last picture on the End link looks like the contrasting stitching vs. the non-contrast in the first picture on End.

PARABOOT APPRECIATION THREAD 2018 - NEWS, PICTURES, CLOTHING, ACCESSORIES, ETC.

Could anyone comment on sizing differences between the Avignon and the Michael, if any. I just got a pair of Michaels in 42.5 (8.5 UK) which initially fit very snugly and then had some heel slippage, very similar to what someone describes here. Depending on how the shoes continue to wear, I'll...

    Introduce yourself.

Hi all--Finally making an account on here after being a long-time lurker on Put This On, Die Workwear, r/malefashionadvice, etc. My style gravitates towards the intersection between European workwear (think Vetra, Paraboot, Arpenteur, Andersen-Andersen) and classic Ivy style. Eager to learn from...
