For those in the know, are these the same as Alden's standard shell belts: https://www.thetanneryrow.com/cordovan-belts/horween-shell-cordovan-belt-color8-30mm They look like they're made by the same maker (Highland Leather in ME)

At that point you might as well just ship to a UPS store in Niagara and go pick it up. It's an extra ~45 minutes from downtown and you don't have to pay the taxes (or duties if applicable).

LOL. $122 of taxes duties and brokerage on $175 of goods. Absolute joke country.

I'm in the market for some new chinos and am looking at either (a) Barnstormer 1001p no pleat, or (b) FOB Factory Heritage Chino. Anyone have experience with either of these who can comment? Also I know you can get the FOB Factory chinos through Bears and Haku but is there an easy shop to...

Does anyone know if Lockie does true MTM? Like can you specify body and sleeve lengths, or is it just MTO smaller sizes that aren't normally stocked?

Archibald London: true craftsmanship, no middlemen, Official Vendor Thread

This is indeed the true trade off. That and having to parse Rohan and Natalie's endless walls of text every time a delay happens.

Archibald London: true craftsmanship, no middlemen, Official Vendor Thread

Nobody in this thread is going to spend $750 on bespoke Japanese sneakers. Part of the appeal of Archibald is the value proposition: good Italian-made sneakers for a reasonable price. The trade-off is that you have to deal with constant delays.

Same. I think this is the last delay I'm going to tolerate and then it's time for a refund.

I don't understand what your position is. As a factual matter, do you actually doubt that the majority of individuals working in garment factories in the United States are immigrants? Do you actually doubt that most of these factories pay very low wages that are unattractive to people with...

Oh yes. You're speaking my language. I try to buy union-made garments as much as possible, and would love to be able to buy more. But I took his tweet to be more of an empirical statement of fact about the way things are today and less a normative statement about the way things should be. Like...

SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

I'm in the market for some new chinos and cords. What's the verdict on Spier for these? I'm eyeing the bedford cords for the corduroy option but are the chinos generally decent? And how's the fit on these generally?
