The Official Skiing / Snowboarding / Playing in the Snow Thread

Agree, of course, but they're both douches. I've crashed into people and (more) people have crashed into me. Of course you utter some "Ça va?"'s and perhaps a "Je m'excuse." and you help eachother collecting the ski paraphernalia but all that yelling is way overdone. Camara douche had enough...

What stereo(s) do you listen to? What do you want?

Never heard about Sidney Bechet. Very enjoyable (on my Sony WH-1000XM3).

Cool furniture, design objects and desiderata

Yes, my children 2 boys of 10 and 8, and girl of 4 all still enjoy the same trip trap. I give it a couple of years, still. Alternative of/next to all the baby strollers. I really liked walking (and biking & skiing ) with a Deuter 2 and later 3. Maybe up to about 5 years old (incidentally).

I agree, but he's got nothing to work with. The script is....not good. The changes in the story seem arbitrary at best. There seems to be little rhyme or reason, unless it's grrrl power. Why is the dragon reborn?

Combined with superhero/action movie cliche lines it will be a difficult pill to swallow. Perhaps that's just the trailer.

I wonder if this will be any good, and if I'm still the target market 26 years after I started reading the series.

Carmina Shoes - Definitive Thread (reviews, advice, sizing, etc...) - official thread.

Question about sizing. I have CJ Connaught 236, in 11.5 and they fit almost perfect. If I wanted boots in a similar last. Which last/size should I try? @Carmina. I have narrow ankles/heels. An can I have measurements in size 11.5/12 in case those would work? (oscar 11.5 were too small)

Cool furniture, design objects and desiderata

I'm no size queen, but a couple of those look small enough to be children's flatware. I guess I'm more partial to elongated designs like below.

    Those look really good, actually.

The Alessi Ovale really remind me of IKEA flatware, or I should say the other way around probably. If we take the version I grew up with, it's even more close.
