    Are there plans for an R-rated Star Wars (a la Logan)? That might rock. Incidentally, Logan is a good example of a movie taking a character (Prof X) in a new direction, and still being well received.

    I think over-analysis of the plot is a symptom of dislike for a movie but not the cause. It's hard to quantify why a movie doesn't float your boat, but plot holes are somewhat quantifiable, so people use those. Better storytelling could have saved the TLJ plot, easily (it wasn't that bad...

    Here's an interesting point from this guy: I think that represents the larger reasons why I didn't get lost in this movie. The story seems like it was written to prove a point, rather than to entertain.

    OK, 2nd question. Do you consider that good storytelling? Was the reveal that Rey's parents are nobody in-particular sufficient for the Rey/parents set-up of episode 7?

    I was going to put the caveat "Unless the movie is amazing", but so few movies are these days that I thought it'd be a non sequitur. That's my hope, especially since Kylo's line "They were nobody" was delivered with about as much gumption as an ostrich with his head in the sand.

     I wouldn't shorten them. The style is supposed to have long sleeves so your arms aren't exposed when they're extended (e.g. when riding). It shouldn't fit like a suit jacket... would look off if it did. 3 better options: - Wear gloves to prop the sleeves up, - move the snap so the wrists...
