    The Official RRL Thread

fwiw I bought a pair a few years ago and they did fit TTS, but were a pain ********** to get on. Also, to me the sole had a pretty large "platform"--or "footprint" if you will--so that when I actually did real walking in them it was kind of exhausting. Maybe they're just too heavy to walk...

    The Official RRL Thread

Had I not bought Freewheeler's deck jacket a couple of years ago I would have bought this one in a heartbeat. I love bedford cord, but these pants seemed a little green on the site. Are they pretty much a khaki color?

Really nice, I agree--except for the "high" and "slim" in my opinion. Such a high rise on these pants is an injustice to them.

    Love it--Congratulations. Good looking family.

No experience with these, but fwiw those pockets kill them for me. Seems like RRL has ruined a lot of what would be nice pants with extra cargo pockets or pockets like on these.

    Belts with changeable buckles?

If you buy the RRL Vincennes belt, the buckle snaps in and out and you can swap buckles with it. But I'll say a couple related things: first, go to ebay or wherever and look for "deco belt buckle" or Hickok buckle, Grip-Tite buckle, Kant-Slip buckle and you'll be introduced to the world of...

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

What the ****? I guess I touched nerve? And no, I did not see your barely creased jacket post. Stop hyperventilating and start doing something to defy the stereotype of SF posters as as a prissy clique of wannabe gatekeepers.

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

Wow, I didn't expect to see such negativity on this jacket/the price. I'm no expert, but the jacket seems legit to me and if so you got a really good deal. And regarding the "brown" label, I own a couple of Brit shirts and that's the color of their labels so ignore the other reply that it's a...

    The Official RRL Thread

I bought the Freewheelers model last year so couldn't tell you, but RRL's is, I hate to say, even nicer. I saw a different model somewhere on SF that RRL made several years back which is even more incredible. Take a look through the SF archives and you'll probably see it--it's gray.

Wear a shirt with some color, then you've got a great fit

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

It looks good to me; a jacket should hit right below the wrist bone, and this looks good

Man, I had a feeling I'd step in with that one. Just not nut-hugging jeans, that's all. He could probably buy another ranch with what I've contributed to his fisc, so it's all good.

****, I don't know. Conversely, if someone is remarked upon as being "cool" looking, does that have to be in contrast to everyone else? The pic of him with his cotton-candy textured hair and low-waisted jeans is pretty risible. He's 82.
