The key with the pour is just to learn your own count rather than thinking of it as relating to real time. I've known bartenders who counted 4, 5 or 6 for the exact same shot pour. And eventually it becomes muscle memory, counting unnecessary.- milosz

Has anyone built/converted their own loft from a commercial space?
I imagine one of the largest obstacles anywhere in the south is energy efficiency, so you aren't sweating your balls off half the year or paying absurd electrical costs. I don't think I'll ever understand midcentury design-star furnishings. Even if I had the money for a $12k chair, I'd rather have two Ikea Poangs (which are extremely comfortable and quite good looking IMO) and $11.8k in hookers and blow.- milosz
