Re-cooling an unopened bottle of champagne?

Can you re-cool an unopened bottle of champagne that has already been cooled once? As in, I cool it in the refrigerator, then take it out, leave it for some time and then cool it again...

Do you have an iPhone 4 with antenna reception issues?

Simple question, do you have an iPhone 4 with antenna reception issues? The important thing is really not whether you bars drop or not, it's whether you drop calls when using the death-grip. Edit: Oh, it's supposed to say: I don't have AN iPhone 4.

How is cigarette smoking viewed upon in your social circle/among your friends?

Yeah, I should have clarified that it's cigarettes I'm asking about. Among my friends it's quite accepted to smoke, although I personally don't smoke on a regular basis. Though it tends to be a lot more smoking now that summer is approaching.

    Anyone here working with PR?

I'm really interested in PR and was wondering if there are any SF members working in PR? If so, - What in PR do you do? - How did you get there? - Are you happy with it? - Perks? Upside/downsides?

    Gun Appreciation Thread

It isn't terribly useful locked up in a safe, so yes, I carry it on me. Now, I don't know where u live but I suppose you carry it for protection, is that really necessary? I mean, sure, I get the shooting at a range thing, but isn't it a bit weird to walk around with a GUN?

    Nialma - your overall impression?

I've heard some good things about them and seen some please-critique-my-nialma-shirt-threads around here, with varying results. I like the simplicity of their (new?) website and their €59/$89 fabrics look great. I've heard that they also ship really fast, compared to other online MTM options...

What shirt brand(s) did business people use in the 50's and 60's?

Is there really no one who knows how much a dress shirt cost in the 50's and 60's? In general, of course.

What shirt brand(s) did business people use in the 50's and 60's?

Not to be pedantic, while you are technically correct, 7.35x and not 10x like I said, I was just trying to make it easier to do the math. Also, the 7.35x is for a basket of goods that includes a wide variety of products (durables, retail, etc.). Hence it doesn't apply individually to specific...

What shirt brand(s) did business people use in the 50's and 60's?

To get an idea about pricing in the sixties vs today, divide today's prices by 10. So something that costs $100 today would run comparably $10 in the sixties. This is the effect of inflation. things were not cheaper back then--the purchasing power of $10 (1960s) = $100 in 2010 dollars. Hence...

What shirt brand(s) did business people use in the 50's and 60's?

^ very interesting! But what did a dress shirt generally (in todays exc. rate) cost in the 50's and 60's?

What shirt brand(s) did business people use in the 50's and 60's?

There was high end and low end just like any other time period. Sure, but did the middle class really spend money on high end dress shirts? I have a feeling they all went to brooks brothers and bought ten white shirts and that was it.

What shirt brand(s) did business people use in the 50's and 60's?

Watching Mad Men and Donald Draper's stack of white french cuffed shirts in his office desk and the somewhat impeccable style he and his co-workers has made me wonder what brand(s) the american middle class used in the 50's and 60's when it came to white business shirts? I highly doubt that...

I don't wear undershirts, however I've heard that Hanes is the path for the chosen one.

    Belt matching issue

I would just wear a black belt. I'd rather contrast than compliment. It looks too contrived to me, especially with colored shoes. Even in the annals (no pun intended) of AAAC, not achieving a perfect match is acceptable. No. OP, don't listen to this guy. Never wear a black belt to brown shoes. A...

    Good alternatives to iPhone

Exactly my point....you want to hazard a guess at how much duplication there is among the 150000 iPhone apps? Why would there be more duplicates (in per cent) among iPhone apps than Android apps? Let's say that 20% of the apps on App Store has no duplicates and that we remove the remaining 80%...
