    The three shirts are in question are a chambray, a linen/cotton oxford and a cotton oxford. All the ones previous were cotton (pinpoint) oxfords. So not really a clear pattern there.

    They’re supposed to be washable, but I was too afraid of shrinkage and fading so I dry-clean mine once a season, yes. Washing cold is probably fine but I didn’t want to risk it. (Mine is cotton twill, not corduroy.)

    I wear a size 44 (US10) in the New Balance 574/550, and a size 42 in the Michael. My ‘true’ size is 42.5 (US9), so for me NB runs very small and the Michael runs a bit large.

    It’s visible on both sides. Will try different ironing techniques but I’m still stumped/annoyed by this not happening on 8 shirts and then happening on 3 others.

    Thanks for the reply. I tried ironing like this and it helps, although I can’t seem to fully get rid of the internal wrinkle in the lining. It’s almost as if there is too much lining for the collar to accomodate. Again, I didn’t have it on any of my earlier shirts, so something must have changed?

    I find the cheaper ‘heavy oxford’ to feel quite cheap and stiff, personally. It gets softer with washing but never feels fantastic to me. The Pima quality is much nicer – thicker but soft, and wrinkles less. I’ve tried about 6 different oxford ranges from PC and the Pima is my favorite by far.
