How Good is BB's So-called "Unconditional Guarantee"?

Ahhh... interesting. That's the exact same problem I have! I have one sleeve on my dominant hand whose cuff is starting to fray a bit. Is it a problem if I don't have a receipt? Also, since I'm in New York, should it take it to the 5th Ave. store or the one on 346 Madison? Thanks for the help...

How Good is BB's So-called "Unconditional Guarantee"?

I have had good experience with the BB guarantee. I had three non-iron oxford cloth shirts that frayed around the collar and cuffs. They varied in age from 18 months to 3 years. I returned them all to the Newberry St, Boston store and they replaced them without quibble, even allowing me to...

    SF approved/recommended Trad books?

I love Plum, Jeeves and Bertie, but they aren;t really 'Trad" at all are they? Honestly, I was wholly unfamiliar with the term "Trad" before I found this site, I knew elements of the style and whatnot, just wondering if they were any books on the subject, preferably with big pictures and small...

    Trad contest finalists

Larry, we kept waiting for your entry so you could show us how it ought to be done. We're all the poorer for its absence. Perhaps he will if Kent Wang is good enough to organise an Ivy League style contest.

    Sartorial Word Association -

Trad can be quite charming on middle-aged men but rather disagreeable on younger persons. Yes, a few are bordering on caricature. Yes, the Doc/A.Squire and his pals sense of style have given the rest of us some good laughs over the past year.

    That Classic 'New England' Look...

Mr Bodner told me once, that people of New England like to boil their clothes, to remove the flavor. If you boil up the tripple tweed you could even make Trad soup.............

    That Classic 'New England' Look...

I agree with most of the comments here, I think well cut ivy league has great style. When worn in the correct way.....ie slim fitting, it is a very cool look. It is a pity that some people on another board have done their best to turn it into a clown's costume.
