What did you go to school for?

I needed a four year degree to get a commission in the USAF and head off to flight school. Picked up a BS in Criminology and later, while serving on an ICBM Combat Crew, picked up an MS in Correctional Services.

    2018 50 Book Challenge

LOL. Oh come on...reading slightly less than a book a week is not that difficult a bar to clear. Simply turn off your TVs and spend that time reading. Sign off these pesky Internet clothing fora and step away from your keyboards and your potential reading time increases exponentially! It will be...

LOL. The thing you must do now is...lose the other one. Your feet will match again and you won't look quite so silly, walking down the street!

    plain toe oxford

E's Leeds, in black calf, are very nice. I wore a pair for many years, during military service...more substantial than the issue oxfords and the better quality of leather took a spit-shine much more easily than the issued versions!

With a Very Merry Christmas recently behind us and a prosperous and Happy New Year ahead, could life get any better than this? My wish is for good health, adequate wealth and high hopes for all in the coming year!

    Post-College Job Progression/History

Attended college on an AFROTC scholarship, picking up a degree in criminology and a Commission in the USAF in the process. Allen Edmonds shoes, new, for $18.50...

...unfortunately, they are from 1977 and they look like this. I'm an AE fan ($mall timer), but I do find 2/3 of their shoes to be unwearably ugly. Usually because those models are too trendy and stray from classic design. I thought this was a recent development until I went through the '77...

"Power jeans" -- what's your take?

The term "power jeans" seems a bit of an oxymoron, regardless of who is wearing them!

    Quoddy Boat Shoes MEGATHREAK

^^ Have heart. While interacting with Quoddy Trail's customer service can be frustrating, they do eventually get it 'all' right! To date, I've purchased three pair of boat shoes and two pair of penny mocs from them and had one pair of boat shoes resoled. Each time, as I dealt with the delays...

    purchasing second hand dress shoes

You can buy rather well made AE seconds, new, for as little as $129 to $200. That is possibly less than the total you would pay for a pair of used shoes, after having them recrafted...and you still have shoes in which the insoles have formed to another's feet! Buy the AE or Alden seconds...your...

Difference between AE firsts and Seconds, also Florsheim Kenmoor

With the sale currently going on at the AE factory stores ($35 off any pair of seconds), you could certainly put yourself into a pair of AE long wings/wing tips for well under the $250 limit you have set for yourself. Cosmetic blemishes, that are very hard to detect, are generally what result in...
