Did they really screw you over that badly that you'll never buy from them again?
  2. M

    Suitsupply NYC

Yes, their return policy applies to all custom made whether it's web store or in store.

I purchased a couple of pairs during their outlets and probably wouldn't buy again. Quality just doesn't cut it.

To my knowledge when you adjust the length of a jacket, the button stance is supposed to move in proportion to the new length. I'm just curious how much did you lower the button stance by when creating these jackets and are you satisfied with the stance now?

Never heard of Apposta, are they relatively new? How's their turnaround time and customer service? I really don't need anymore shirts as I'm trying to declutter my closet, but the selection does look tempting.

I don't believe Suitsupply shirts were ever a great value to begin with. At this price point there are tons of options out there with more customizations available like Proper Cloth and Luxire.

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed about it too. All this essentially does is allow you to customize the details you want, but it seems like they want to maintain control of how or who inputs the measurements. I guess it makes sense to some degree because if people screw up the measurements they still...

Good point Michael, I was expecting you to chime in because I know you're a fan of the washington especially with the notch lapels instead of the peak and ticket pocket. I'm just curious, how many washington suits do you currently have?

Have you tried using suitsupply's own fit finder algorithm?

    Suitsupply NYC

It seems like people have a love/hate relationship with the washington fit. I'm personally a big fan of the fit and silhouette so I went ahead and constructed a custom made a month ago. Also constructed a custom made from scratch in a navy birdseye traveller fabric. When it comes to the length...

Wow, seriously how do you even choose. I think the 15 that you use in rotation says it all. I'm going to try to keep my jackets to 15 maximum.

Some argue that full canvas allows the jacket to drape better, but oddly in my experience that's not the case. I actually prefer a half canvas and the way it drapes. Anyone else feel this way?

    Suitsupply NYC

I agree, I'm hoping they allow some degree of changes in measurements online.

There is a base pattern fit, custom made from scratch is based on a Lazio/La Spalla pattern.

What do you think of the armholes? Too low, too high, just right?

    Suitsupply NYC

Hopefully one day they do make this available to customers to customize themselves because I'm sure most of us here would appreciate being able to do this from the comfort of your own computer sitting at home.

I think you're getting a bit too worked up and overreacting to all of this a bit, no? No need to attack him like this over a couple of good deals on suits.

I am in the US. I apologize, reading back I may have misinterpreted what you said. To clarify, I didn't input these details myself. It was done through a suitsupply sales rep. When you said it wasn't available you were saying that inputting these details and completing the order isn't something...
