How far do you guys size up for linen Hancock’s? I normally wear Small, 5’10”, 155 lbs and normally wear stuff slightly loose, rather than baggy/outright oversized (being pretty skinny, I don’t find oversized isn’t that flattering). Ie medium shirts even though S is TTS for me. Shorts I’d...

Yes, just sneakers and summer walk lookalikes (in the vid). I can't afford summer walks so interested in Remy's version which I believe are under 400. Want to try them one first of course!

I know there's some pretty strong opinions on pjt here given the permanent style/timelessman reviews but found this recent showroom tour and shows a general shift in focus to casual wear and thought it might be of interest since there's not a lot of coverage of Australian mtm menswear: Here's...

    P Johnson MTM

Thanks for those, TFC and Calder are certainly beautiful but the aesthetic doesn't speak to me ie. seems a bit fussy as opposed to being clean and light which draws me to PJT (for context, work in a tech company where standard dress is sneakers, jeans and button down). Never heard of Mawson...

Anyone still into PJT? Notwithstanding manufacturing issues, I still think they're great at their price point for Chinese produced MTM ie unlined/unstructured blazers and shirt jackets.

Makes sense, thanks for the update @Journeyman. I think classic menswear is a particularly tough biz in Brisbane, notwithstanding covid! Hope he makes a comeback.

What's the deal with MTM in Brisbane these days. Any new go-to options or same as usual? (ie no real options)

Kamakura Shirts - Madison Ave Store

I nailed my size first order in the “sport” ocbd and quickly ordered two more. Great value and love the unlined collar. FYI they just started offering unlined “sport” collars on their online custom shirts. Dangerous if they start also offering more fabrics!

Hahahaha but it doesn't fit the two aussie bro options of untucked oxford bro or tucked in dress shirt/no tie bro.

Thoughts on long sleeved polos in Sydney conservative business dress business casual office (Enterprise Software). Looks good on the internet, but not sure if its a bit dandyish for Australia. Something like this: https://angloitalian.com/products/polo-navy-m?_pos=5&_sid=133c0eaa5&_ss=r...

Kamakura Shirts - Madison Ave Store

Looking at buying my first Kamakura shirt. Can't try on as I'm in Australia. Looking at the Slim Sport Oxfords. 5'10" 145 pounds. Neck doesn't matter as don't wear ties. Would 38-85 work? Measurements sound right but not sure about shrinkage. Thank you!
