HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

Last week there was some very heavy rain here. The photos below show the maiden voyage for this classic-inspired trench coat.

    Ongoing Bespoke Projects

I posted about the coat below in the making some time ago. I cannot remember when. I also made the disclaimer in my original post that this coat is not truly bespoke, as no fittings were involved. But stylistically, it is my own concept of a classic, full length trench coat. The coat is...

    WAYWRN: Classic Menswear, Casual Style

Yeah, that sounds like the way to go. I will be pretty busy for the next few weeks in the lead up to some leave I have planned, but let's touch base again come mid September regarding a time to meet.

Adelaide menswear is a tough game. If you want to dress beyond mediocrity without going interstate or overseas to build your wardrobe, there are some major hurdles to jump. I am about six years into the game, so there are some insights I can share. Recommendations are highly dependent on what...

I look forward to seeing the results. I am not sure they should be using the term bespoke though. I have no personal experience with them, but I know of others who have described their model to me, and it sounds like MTM.

    WAYWRN: Classic Menswear, Casual Style

Sorry, but the best I can do is to advise that it's made by a local tailor from a cloth of no great heritage that is almost certainly defunct. Since it is defunct, it's probably moot to say that the cloth is a worsted in the vicinity of 13oz (guessing). Others may best be able to advise where...
