    The official CELINE thread

Agreed, closed channel stitching will all do that. Its a very thin piece of leather cut, peeled back and then stuck back down. It looks more luxe but will eventually all separate or wear away as with the rest of the sole. It shouldn't affect the shoes in the slightest.

    The official CELINE thread

Those boots are definitely fake. If you search online there are loads of Celine fakes, I always find it useful to know what's out there. It might be a niche market but its a market that obviously sells

They narrowed the shaft from SS16 onwards where they had pull tabs. So other than FW13 you've got the skinnier shaft. Unless the latest ones have gone back to fat... SS17 were definitely slim though.

Yeahh, I think the L01 i tried on was calf, but in 48 (same size as my L17) it definitely felt tighter. I think @ohyehhh has an L01 in 50 and L17 in 48. Just order from somewhere you can return too and you'll be fine man! Congrats on the future pickup!

Sleeve are slightly long on that although from when I've tried on the L01 fits slightly smaller and more cropped in the same size. I think a 46 in L01 would fit good. Thinking calf or classic lamb?

Calf was original although they had different versions of this, Prudy's is 1, the heritage calf which is thicker more textured and then the normal smoother calf. They have different product codes on the tags. They then started offering both but only really advertised one on the website. EG...

@Isolar Pics comparing the FW13 Hertitage and SS16 mutton. There was a considerable difference in weight too Calf left, Lamb right. Looking at pictures they both have a texture that the normal calf and pre-SS16 lamb don't have.

@Prudy Dammn it looks good there. If i didn't have the mutton i'd have probably kept it :( Yeah that thing is so thick. I think you're right with near invincible! I have some pictures of the heritage next to the mutton L17 of SS16 i will try and post up later.

I think there is a new colour "Light cigar/tobacco" as these look wildly different on ssense https://www.ssense.com/en-gb/men/product/saint-laurent/tan-suede-wyatt-jodhpur-boots/1799613

Ive taken to filming myself packing everything as apparently I've heard they don't accept photos as they can be photoshopped. Ridiculous but better safe than sorry. I always keep all receipts in a folder too and they have the weight on.
