PG - I notice you change your straps pretty frequently. I'm wondering what you use to change them? I just received a Stowa Airman with a few straps and using tweezers or a steak knife isn't really working. Thanks (to whoever chimes in). Something like this...

I'm not big on pilots watches but this pic (Chris's picture) of it is nice. Me neither, which is why i was interested when you mentioned the next set. I thought you had more info...

which one did you put on hold? I was going to order a brushed but I'm waiting for the non chrono autos to come out. I order a good bit from Europe, the UK, and Asian countries so I know what you mean by expensive foreign shipping. An M1....polished with regular crystal. When are the others...

Think of how many watches out there look directly similar to a rolex sub and how many pilot watches that are basically exact copies. The Lum-Tecs look similar but you can definitely tell they are a separate watch and not a direct copy. I like watches with great lume and the lum-tec I posted...

Here is the only watch I own: It was designed by Tokujin Yoshioka for Issey Miyake and made by Seiko. Obviously purchased for the design, not the quartz technology. Better photo (not mine): Cool! Is it two rotating 'wheels', or is it an LCD?

Beautiful watch gusvs ! I support the idea of a brown/honey alligator strap. I just wouldn't go too dark of a brown with the silver face. Yes, I also support this idea. Here's a pic of my new strap in brown with a silver dial:

Should I buy the ploprof homage or the one to the right of it in the picture above? The one to the right is the first watch made by this company and is 1 of 150. I am selling off my watches and trying to cut down for the most part so I don't want to buy both. While I love Omegas (I own a few), I...

C_Del the M1/M2 are finished and assembled he is just waiting for the bracelets which are held up at customs but should be to him anyday. I'm waiting for my m1 phantom as well. I think the m4's 55 are about totally sold. I think the m1 and m2 look better and the greenish white lume is even...

C_Del. This watch uses quartz actually which is the only downfall of the watch (supposedly a high quality quartz but to me quartz=quartz no matter what it is other than the $5 movements). The owner offers free battery replacement/pressure testing for the life of the watch. I went downtown to a...

I received another Lum-Tec (posted one the other day) this morning that I wasn't expecting. Here's a few iPhone pics (again sorry how horrible the iPhone camera is but this watch comes in great leather packaging). There is not one watch in the world with brighter lume than a Lum-Tec KBW, do...

I like leather straps with this buckle. Do they have a special name for this type of strap? Can't see it real well. But I guess the strap is just a regular strap, but the buckle is a deployant buckle. More specifically, that one looks like a butterfly deployant. EDIT: and the band almost looks...

I found a Breaitling and a Pulsar watch! Well it was while searching my own things for items to give away after some weight loss. I mean clothing items, not the watches. C'mon people, who gives away Breitlings? Anyway, I came across these yesterday: The Breitling was bought by me about 10 years...
