HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part IV (starting May 2014)

Long time since my last post. Good to see some familiar names still keeping it stylish in here. Currently I Am based in Jakarta, which is not a hotspot for great tailoring. Haven’t gotten in to the batik game yet but it’s only a matter of time. Suit: De Petrillo Shirt: Shirtonomy Tie: Dreaming...

    Scent/Fragrance of the Day thread

Many years ago when I started to take an interest in whisky my first love were the big Islays. I wanted my single malts to be peaty, smoky, salty and with lots of tar. Through the years I've drifted more and more towards a little more subtle flavours. I still do love my Ardbegs, but on rare...

Depends on the shirt. If it's a spread collar in poplin, pinpoint or similar then no pocket. It can work on a BD or a shirt with a slightly heavier fabric. Monograms are pointless and slightly douchy.

Inspired by this thread I ordered a few samples from Profumum Roma. Trying one of their new frags, Vir, today. Cannabis, incense, cedar, tobacco, sandalwood. Vir means ”man” in latin and this certainly feels like a masculine scent. I’ve seen reviewers compare it with Straight to Heaven and Black...

I think that Roudnitska's original Moustache for Rochas is fantastic. I haven't tried the re-launch of the EDP from 2018. Anyone tried it?

Just avoid being creepy about it and you’ll be fine.

Thanks. I have tried Acqua di Sale and that's really good, but it's the only one I've tried. Generally not a big fan of gourmands so I'll stay clear of them. I'm also curious about their new scent: Dincanto

Thinking about ordering some samples from Profumum Roma. Which one's should I start with?

    Great trousers. Even better cats!

I like when trousers rest on the shoes (like they do in Dorian Green's post above), but this is too much. You get an ugly break this way. Have you considered shortening the leg at least an inch?

Eau Noire today. Good to have this back in circulation again. Imho one of only two great Dior's this side of the millennium (the other one is the original Homme). But is the longevity not as good as it used to be? I haven't worn it in many years but I remember it as lasting longer. I love the...
