    Last photo shows colors best. Brown suit. Suit and loafers. Going to a baptism celebration. Knot loosened up when I was sitting in the car. Edit: is the lapel gorge too high? I am somewhat skeptical.

    For the life of me, I cannot take decent photos. I shoot in awful angles reliably. When I ask my wife to do it, it's better colors but even worse angles. My self critique: button point too high (not as high as the photo suggests), sleevehead too snug. None of which I am going to change. Here it is

    I roll my grenadine and knit ties, but all others I just hang. Grenadines will stretch a bit if hang (one of mine increased by 1+ inch over 3 years!), so I roll/store them for this reason.

    I really like your fits in general. This tie today is great. I think the denim shirt and the busy suit are too much together. I would prefer a solid/plain suit with this shirt-tie combo. Alternatively, a pale blue pinpoint shirt with the suit-tie combo. The denim shirt Nazis are about to strike!

    My tie is very dark. In light you can tell it is in essence dark Navy. I like it because unlike more blue ties, it can be worn easily with a navy suit, but also has the same effect of a black grenadine tie (balances off a busy sportscoat) .
