    Truman Boots

I recommend the cap toe. I think that they add a little bit more character to the boot. My pair is very uniform, and they have very good quality control so you needn't worry.

You're correct. My boots have eight. I got mine before he officially started taking orders, so they are the previous pattern. Personally, I really like this design.

Re-waxed Java Waxed Flesh. I waxed them with Obenauf's.

They have a one piece leather insole. Pretty much the same as White's or Nick's.

They have a low to medium amount of support. I don't own Aldens or Vibergs, so I can't compare those, but they definitely don't have the arch support of White's. It doesn't other me too much. They are comparable to a Redwing I would say. Have Vince add a steel shank and it will add a little bit...

Here are two different angles. They are kind of dirty at the moment because I've been wearing them all day.

I really like White's, but it's always nice to see someone new step into the market.

    Truman Boots

I do not own a pair of Viberg boots. I just meant that for the price and quality it seems that Truman boots are a far better deal. I personally see no reason to spend $700+ on Vibergs, when I can get something that is the same level of quality. Also it's nice to support a small, American boot...

Personally, for the price, I would take Vince's boots over Viberg all day every day. I like the fact that they are more work boot-ish, because they are built to last (no pun intended) and really take a beating.

Yes, at this time all of his boots are Horween. Currently he has Waxed Flesh, Dublin, and No. 8 on his website.

    Truman Boots

I have a pair of White's smoke jumpers that I use for work. The Trumans have a lower arch, but they are still extremely comfortable. The quality is definitely comparable to White's, the stitching, lasting, sanding, etc. all look and feel great. If you are looking for something to wear as...

Here you go. This is after a full month of daily (hard) use. The waxed flesh has held up really well.

I bought a pair of Java waxed flesh boots from him and have been completely satisfied. They shipped well under the wait time, they look fantastic, and they are extremely well made. On a side note, Vince provides fantastic customer service, which is important to me.
