Big Question: Lets say I have a favorite pair of EG shoes made to their "standard" spec. Let's say I'm happy with the last and sizing. Interesting comments about the rounded waist segment converging into the square heel through hand carving of the side of the sole. Shoe Sizing
I was recently fitted by Hillary Freeman as a size 8E in Edward Green. What is shocking is that I normally buy a US 9.5 or 10D. I have some shoes from RLPL that did not come with shoe trees. They are on the 89 last and the 101 last. Best mass-produced shoe tree?
Actually, I have found the Rochester "Washburn" model to be the best tree so far. It is about $35, but you can sometimes get a discount for $10 off at shoebuy.com... It is a solid toe, high vamp, shoe tree. It is not hollow, so it is no good for travel but I find that it fills my shoes...- morsem
