Can anyone tell me what is the approximate retail value of this particular TISSOT watch? Thanks.

    What is this thing called?

Thanks for the insight. To keep vents from flapping? Honestly, I don't get it. Can someone explain in greater detail how that works? From the photo, it would seem that vent strap would keep the SIDE vents from flapping but not the back panel from flapping.

    What is this thing called?

You see that belt or strap connected to each side of the vents of the jacket. What is that called and what purpose does it serve?

Does my black fedora need to be worn with black shoes?

I completely agree black is limiting. I already own many colours of wool felt fedoras (brown, charcoal, navy, wine, tan, etc.), I just wanted to add this black one to my collection. I don't own black suits, mostly grey and navy and tan; this is not an exhaustive list but just a sampling.

Does my black fedora need to be worn with black shoes?

Black fedora with black grosgrain band with feather in red and a few other colours. Do I need to wear black shoes with this hat? What are the rules for coordinating hat colours to shoe colours? Thanks.

Who Makes Kevin O'Leary's Ties? (For Canadians)

I forgot to mention his pants, in that photo, are at least 2.5 inches too long. It just goes to prove just because you're rich doesn't mean you have style.

Who Makes Kevin O'Leary's Ties? (For Canadians)

Robert Herjavec used to be a salesman at Harry Rosen way back in the day.

    Any other Edmontonians here?

Anyone here had any dealings with John The Tailor in City Centre Mall? Are the bespoke suits done on premises and not just measurements sent away somewhere and the suit made elsewhere? I bought a Burberry scarf at this place and I think it's a counterfeit, didn't realize it until I got home...

    The 2015 Canadian Style Election

I'm not sure about Mulcair but Harper's suits are from Harry Rosen; and Justin Trudeau's suits are also most likely, in my opinion, from Rosen although they could be made-to-measure, not off-the-rack. When Trudeau was waving to the crowds as he was walking towards Rideau Hall to be sworn in...

    Vanity sizes issue

Just bought a pair of striped Diesel jeans today. Waist size on label says 33 but in reality the waist measures to be 38. (My actual waist is 37.) That's a ******* difference of 5 ******* inches. ******* Christ!

    Tuxedo Help

Hello, you have an 11 to 13 inch drop. I don't think that's readily attainable in an off-the-rack garment since virtually all off-the-rack suits will have a 6 inch drop (or 7 inch at the most).
