I think the forum will not like this - but this is a no-tie situation. A suit is just a bit more formal than everyone else (ok) but tie is pushing it in this office.- toplel

Exactly this. If it's not going to look that good it's not worth it regardless. $50 would be my top end too, I'm just wondering if it's worth even taking a look or best avoided outright.- toplel

Yes hello it's a n00b. This is *supposed* to be a Hugo Boss "The Keys 7/Shaft 2" sports coat. My googling indicates "The Keys 7/Shaft 2" is a type of suit, meaning this might be an orphan, perhaps w/ different buttons sewn on. What do the experts say?- toplel

Vintage Overcoat can I make this one fit me
I would wear your suit jacket underneath when taking it to your tailors. Also suggest you shorten the length more that what you have pinned, contemporary style is much higher. Lastly, patch pockets on a wool garment can be moved but I doubt you have to. They are designed to put your hands in...- toplel
