Way too difficult to tell in that picture. When standing straight, hands naturally at your side, where does the jacket fall in relation to your fingers?

Vincent -- You're overthinking this!! I really don't think you should worry so much about thread count. Sure, you want to have a good quality shirt, but even if you're going past 100 (which is a good number) to get into the upper echelon 140 level, that doesn't necessarily mean it's "too formal"...

Yes, you can. They rule of thumb re mixing stripes is to have varying widths and/or directions. You have that here in that your shirt stripes are thicker than your suit stripes. You're good to go

Agreed it looks fine. Both your pattern and tie are loud, and there's nothing wrong with that when done right. But if you're ever worried about being too loud, just switch the shirt out with something more subdued and keep the tie or vice versa.

No problem. As for narrowing the sleeves, you may be thinking of narrowing the armhole itself. That is definitely harder for a tailor to pull off correctly. What I'm talking about is a tapering of sleeve to basically fit closer and more snugly to your arm so it doesn't look like your arm is...

it's not a problem at all, im happy to help however I can. Shortening the length will definitely make a positive difference. However, it should be noted that shortening a jacket can sometimes be a risky proposition if you take it to a sub-par tailor. This also, of course, depends on how much...

Hmm...fair question. Did you try each of the jackets one size down? They might look better and require less tailoring. If I have to rate the ones you showed us, I would rate the first jacket a 6 and the second a 5.5. I the think two fit more or less the same, although it's a bit hard to tell...

It's a bit hard for me to comment about prices in euros as I'm located in NYC and have a better understanding, of course, of what it's like to purchase in dollars (despite having lived in Europe for some time). At the current exchange rate, 150 euro comes out to around 170 dollars I believe, and...

VincentVogan -- I've tried and own a number of their red line shirts. They fit very well, and are decent quality for the price. I've experienced buttons chipping before but am not sure if that has more to do with the dry cleaner vs. the quality of the shirt. All in all, given the price point...

jmeb -- I'm new here, and some might disagree with me, but I definitely don't think cufflinks are for suits only. I myself wear cufflinks every so often with a blazer and trousers, and am happy with the end result. I've also seen it done plenty of times and think it's just fine. Given that they...

upcoming -- If I'm being completely honest, I don't think either one fit all that well. It's hard to tell 100% accurately based on your pics, but both jackets seem to have issues with respect to shoulders, jacket length, and sleeve width. The shoulders extend too far past your shoulder blade...
