Crockett & Jones Tetbury Barney's sizing

Hmm so perhaps I should try a 10.5? Maybe it'll be perfect, maybe a touch big, and go from there?

Crockett & Jones Tetbury Barney's sizing

Thanks! Do you know if the Tetbury runs true to size, or slightly larger/smaller? (Deciding between a 10.5 or 11)

Crockett & Jones Tetbury Barney's sizing

Hey all, Looking to order a pair of the Crockett and Jones Tetbury from Barney's and was looking for some sizing input. I usually wear an 11US (sometimes a 10.5) and have heard some conflicting info on how the Tetbury is sized. Some say go one full size down from your US size to account for...

    Velvet Dinner Jacket Question

Great! Thanks for the reassurance. Follow-up question, would black grosgrain-covered buttons or matching velvet-covered buttons be more appropriate in this instance? Or is it another minutiae that doesn't matter one way or another? Thanks again!

    Velvet Dinner Jacket Question

Hello, I am looking at purchasing a burgundy velvet dinner jacket for a Christmas party I'll be hosting this year (it's meant to be a somewhat formal affair, but still a relaxed atmosphere and fun for everybody). I came across a burgundy velvet shawl collar dinner jacket in my size from...

    Convex shoulder pads

So i just purchased a suit off of ebay (a 2009 Gucci) and upon receiving it the overall fit was good, but the shoulder pads seen to have a rounded or convex shape. NEW MEMBER INQUIRIES & QUICK QUESTIONS- CLASSIC MENSWEAR: WK OF NOV 23, 2015

Hey everybody! I recently purchased a suit in an 80/20 wool silk blend, and while overall the fit is fantastic, the sleeves are about a half inch too short, and I was wondering if the silk in the jacket could make tailoring any more difficult (e.g. leaving a crease in the sleeve or small...

For a quick, cheap, and dirty slim fit shirt that it truly an extremely slim fit (albeit not very high quality at all, though still fairly durable) check out Vincenzo Boretti on Amazon (listed un VB Shirt Body Fit). They're cheap, look fantastic, and I believe are 100% cotton, though again...

Zegna Labels ID's for eBay purchasers (Graphic Intensive)

Would anyone know anything about this suit tag? It seems, for lack of a better term, upside down in that the materials and fabric info are listed at the top rather than the bottom. Is this a newer Zegna update? Any idea of the time range? Thanks!

    collar button too tight

Second vote for moving the collar button if all you need is an 8th of an inch or so, it might screw up the angle of your collar and placket though if you move it too much, so be careful.
