Zonkey Boot Appreciation Thread
Size wise, are you wearing the same as your other shoes? ie Carmina Vass. I have heard the they are "longer" lasts so did you need to size down 1/2 or woul dthat have made them too narrow? Looking at getting a pr or 2. TIA- emidyl

LOL turning into the Alden subforum. I'll direct back to Trickers in a sec... Alden do make a ton of shell vs other makers. I've only this 1pr of Alden shell but compared to my recent @Milohshop Roberts, Trickers shell feels a bit more substantial to me. On foot it also feels sturdier, not sure...- emidyl

aside from the 2pr I currently own, the Indy or a 360degree version would be my only other consideration. agreed on Alden, luckily the 2 prs I have, LWB from 4yrs and recent shell tanker are made well, but have seen many I would not entertain. Viberg, somewhat more consistent but I have seen some with issues I would not purchase/or would return.- emidyl

you could argue that point about pretty much anything really, from Japanese denim to cars. Branding is all it really is, and how they want to position themselves within their core market. why would your commercial invoice not have the HTS code supplied from your vendor? Even when I ordered cases for my motorcycle they had the correct code on all paperwork supplied from the manufacturer. On the flip side, I've generally had to wait about 30-45 days for any monies refunded/adjusted...- emidyl

hmm, for us CND's there is no longer duty re CETA, you pay your HST and service charge from whoever you use for shipping. I never use UPS, most expensive and are liberal with their fees. At least I know what I am getting into with CanPost. For me buying direct from ZB would save a few bills on...- emidyl

Shoe care questions
The mirror gloss isn't adding too much more protection but is really good at bringing the shine. DO NOT use too much and only keep it on the very fronts as further up will crease and crack off. Just use the lotion to nourish and then the cream afterwards. Wax if you like but less is more.. As...- emidyl
