Epaulet shop - Official Affiliate thread

A while back they did a profile of our loft in a book on Downtown Los Angeles. Somehow I ended up in my trusty Epaulet caramel chinos and denim Kamigata. Below it is a closeup of the watch on my wrist...

LOS ANGELES TAILOR for suits? Near DTLA preferred

Hey guys, I need a tailor to work on a few suits -- hem pants, take out a wasteband, lengthen jacket sleeves and take in a few jackets. Stuff I care about being done well. Anyone have a great recommendation? Thank you very much!

Epaulet shop - Official Affiliate thread

I bought M. That's what I've always bought in Epaulet shirts so I'm sure they'll be fine

Epaulet shop - Official Affiliate thread

Word of caution on the Thorpe -- they're pretty short. I wear a medium in almost everything Epaulet, and definitely would have sized up to L had I tried one on. 3-pack of thermals was an instant buy for me today

IC: Shawl Collar Horsehide Bomber by Epaulet by Thedi Leathers

I have a size M and want the L, so if anyone wants a Medium, we can do a three way deal

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

@FlashmanH Great collection! I love those pieces. Any AP Millenary fans here? This one is further proof that if you are willing to look back a few years you can find some incredibly cool, under-appreciated pieces. Retail on this one was $330k!!

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

Got this in on Friday. For my $, the three greatest watchmakers on the planet are Kari Voutilainen, Roger Smith, and Philippe Dufour. It's always special to hold a piece by any of the three. A totally different level...

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

Love the 5712. I just sold a very rare GR (white and rose gold) with Tiffany dial. Have to agree though, my favorite would be the 1a on bracelet

Sorry to interrupt this flame fest, but thought you guys might enjoy the last podcast I did with Ariel Adams. We talked a lot about production and the overall market

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

For anyone on the fence on a Journe Chronometre Bleu, I played around with some macro photography yesterday. Honestly, if you have ~20k to spend on a watch this is THE PIECE to buy.

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

For the Ochs and Junior -- they are great watches. The watch wears nicely, the design is very good. I found it a bit tricky to read the date, but perhaps I never wore it enough to really figure out the dots well. I'm personally not a huge fan of calendar watches unless I'm going to wear it...

Epaulet shop - Official Affiliate thread

Probably impossible but may as well try -- my Shawl collar Thedi is one of my favorite articles of clothing I own. Unfortunately it's just a bit smaller than I'd like. Is there anyone with a L who would want to swap for a M? Winter pic pre-snowy hike. Over a sweater in a weird Air BnB (but no...

@DLJr The Bleu is insane value for money. I've had everything, and nothing even remotely compares to it in this ballpark. I'd rate it about as strong a buy as nearly any watch in the industry. Here are two more pics of the pair from when I was strap swapping earlier

The Watch Appreciation Thread - Part two (Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Jaeger LeCoultre,

I have been doing Hourtime Podcasts recently with Ariel from ablogtowatch and gotten into this topic of current market and production. I spoke a bit about it in the one I did a few weeks ago, and more in one that should be released this week. In the meantime, I've been getting back into FP...

Fully staying out of the Hodinkee discussion ;) Sorry I haven't been around much lately, been busy. Just today though I picked up one of my personal grails. These were made as an LE of 15 pieces. As far as I know this is the only one that's ever come for sale and it's sold 3-4 times in the...
