The Sienna fit - how does it fit? How's the length? How slim is it compared to the other fits?

I love SuitSupply - but for the love of god, why does their sizing seem to be wildly inconsistent? I ordered a plain blue Napoli in the same size as my Washington fit - 46R - and the trousers on the Napoli are infinitely slimmer than the Washington. This is totally bizarre as the literature...

I have this coat (Vicenza fit) but in charcoal grey. Buttoning point is higher and it's much longer than the model pictures indicate - I have no idea why they style the coats in such a weird way, as it does them no favours. Shame, since it's the best fitting coat I've ever owned. Will post pics...

Recieved my new Washington Half - just got it back from the tailors. What a suit! Sleeves needed to be shortened from the shoulder, but other than that it's perfect. I love the lapels - much prefer it to the standard Washington - and the fabric is very nice indeed. Looks like this one actually...

Looks good! Sleeve and jacket length look spot on; shoulders also look good to my eye. Some slight sleeve pitch issues, but nobody will care really.

Shifted a good few of my old suits and decided to use the extra cash and wardrobe space on something I really wanted, so I ordered myself a new Washington Half suit in a Fall Winter fabric...

44L definitely fits slimmer, and I had to have it let out slightly in the body for this reason. Length wise, there's no real difference between the two other than in the sleeves - both fit well and go over my jacket sleeves (as they should on a coat) but the 44L is a smidgeon too long. In...

Question; how does the Washington Half compare to the Washington fit? It's confusing; some literature indicates it's shorter in the body and sleeves, others seem to imply it fits identically to the normal Washington except with patch pockets.

My new Dallas Fit coat arrived today - I'm very pleased. It's basically just a lengthened Washington, but with completely unpadded shoulders and four button cuffs rather than five. The 2.5 button arrangement is a little unique for an topcoat, but I rather like how it rolls over. As it's based on...

I wouldn't worry about the length either - I think it's good to have a mix of coats. I have a dark brown wool Ulster coat that is full length and very heavy - this is great in the depths of the winter when it's really cold. Outside of that though, I don't really wear it because it's just too...

Anyone here ever bought a Dallas fit overcoat? Any real life pics? I tried searching but found nothing.

Here's my new wool/mohair Washington. It's beautiful - one of the best shades of blue I have in my wardrobe now. The sizing is weird - I sized up to a 46 and went down to a regular as it already has longer sleeves/jacket - but it fits me perfectly. I'm 6'3 for reference. Trousers are currently...

That's one Americanism I've never heard anyone use over here. Pretty much every British brand uses the phrase "Autumn Winter Collection". Then again, I do live a long way from London...perhaps they all have American accents down there these days. ;)

Eek, I just bought another suit. This is definitely my last for a long time! Pulled the trigger on this Washington. Mohair blend fabric. 46 fit great in the store when I tried it on briefly so we'll see how this one looks. I'm a big fan of mohair - I seem to have somehow acquired too many...

Yeah, I'm after a darker grey ideally. Do you mean the one I linked to is a darker grey in real life?

I'm in the mood for a Tom Ford ripoff. Does anyone have this particular Washington? The first pictures show it as a light/medium grey, but the last closeup shows it as being considerably darker...

The official thrift/discount store bragging thread - Part II (May 2015 - Sept. 2018)

Only find yesterday - a pretty nice Belvest sports jacket. First time I've ever found Belvest in the UK; I'm not aware of any stockists over here. Tagged 52C European, fits like a 40 short. Buttery soft wool.
