    Cars We Drive!

I know someone who got the lifetime ban from tesla for trying to flip their Model X after a long delivery wait. I guess he asked the wrong questions to the SA and they will not sell them that or any car.

    STEAKS!!!!!!!

I paid a bit of a premium to a local butcher that carries SRF. I am going back to get a SRF wagyu tomahawk that they apparently ordered to many of and have put them on sale for prices cheaper then SRF. The way I view it, they were frozen at some point, so my local butcher or my freezer, I am ok...

    STEAKS!!!!!!!

I cooked one of the best steaks I have ever made or had. Cooked a SRF strip steak in the Roccbox. Had cast iron to 650, oven was around 750, seared one side, flipped and dropped some ghee garlic and rosemary. Basted, put back in and the turned off the heat. Plenty of gradient here and the middle...

OFFICIAL THREAD: General Cookery and Discussion

So the Ooni doughs were finally back in stock. I got mine yesterday and will cook them this weekend. Made from 00 flour, which should stand up better to higher heats that the Roccbox throws off. Curious to see as I have been trying to track down a source for frozen 00 dough balls in the right size.

@Fueco worth tracking down that Patagonia collab? Usually like the Dogfish stuff.

    Cars We Drive!

Firm believer in first mover advantage along with data from a billion miles driven with the use of some derivation of self driving. I also believe tesla to be somewhat of a software company that makes a car, while GM and Ford are late to the game and scrambling to get something to compete as a...

    Cars We Drive!

Ultimately the NHTSA approves the functions. Truthfully I would rather trust the software from Tesla than GM or Ford, both offering the same thing on the same roads that people drive. Cadillac even claims hands free driving in a nationally televised commercial. My car handles situations pretty...

I use propane. Haven't tried wood, although I do have the attachment. Might try this summer. @edmorel get one, won't be disappointed.

OFFICIAL THREAD: General Cookery and Discussion

I have a Gozney for a few years now, posted some pics here before. Now that the weather has started to get a bit better here on the east coast it is time to break it out of hibernation. I am going to cheat this year, OONI has begun selling preformed frozen dough made from double 0 flour, which...

    Cars We Drive!

@HRoi, going to disagree a bit here. I think Tesla is extremely undervalued to what I believe is the next biggest commodity our country will see, data. No one has collected more miles driven and has better data than Tesla. That is why when Tesla insurance ever gets to NY, I will purchase. They...

    Cars We Drive!

I don't think anyone is saying Elon was a rags to riches story, claiming he is the nicest guy out there, nor do I worship him. While he might have had a trust fund, still admirable to become the worlds richest man. Sure it is easier to start on 3rd base, but its not clear that he said he hit...

    Cars We Drive!

How so? I have stated that I have been a tesla owner for years. If I wanted to be different, I would have ordered the Rivian. No desire there, so sticking with the cybertruck. Different enough, maybe like getting the iPhone Max instead of the SE

    Cars We Drive!

I think the cybertruck looks different. If I wanted something that looked like the F150, I guess I would get the electric F150. I have a deposit on the cyber truck, hoping to take delivery late next year, so I guess I like it enough.

    Cars We Drive!

Who happens to way wealthier than you and I and started a business from an idea that is actually successful, where many have tried and failed. I have said previously that my specific y build isn’t great, but I am also not buying a pick up that starts at $68k. My y at the time was considerably...

    Cars We Drive!

I have seen a Rivian and a lucid air on the road. I am biased, but neither impressed me. I think the Rivian looked good from the from, but as it when by the back looked like an F150. Lucid, i thought would have looked a bit sleeker, but again the front was nice, but the back half was kinda of...

What are you drinking right now?

Just back from breckenridge. Went to the distillery, did a tasting. But found this, which I have been wanting to try on my next trip to CA. In a bottle and on tap.

I thought with peak Porsche, those were transported on 400 ft. custom Lurssen yachts. I will pour a bit of my Louis the XIII for Foo and Hroi.

    The Official Wine Thread

Local (ish) wine store Zachys is have a moving sale. They marked down a whole bunch of bottles to $78 some from $199. I guess they rather we pay for the moving expense by charging us shipping, but could the wine be that solid if going from $199 to $78? I did see some solid names, but those at...
