    Need advise. I recently discovered that the seam from the inside has started to tear and I'm afraid it's going to continue with use. I'm wondering if it's worth to have it re sawn or just get them re soled. I'm bummed about it since I got them on September and they're supposed to take a beating.

     Ll bean will take them back no questions asked.. (Exchange ) I suggest you go a full size down so 9.5, if there is movement on the heel now by the time they're fully broken in they may get very loose. Congrats on your purchase! I wear mine everyday and everywhere, I haven't wore my sneakers...

    Wolverines 1k are shinny and elegant, you would wear them to the office all week. You would only wear your katahdins to the office on a casual Friday, plus you wouldn't want to take the 1k's on a hike.

    They feel good to me, although the boots have approx 100 hours of use, In a month period. I have taken them 4 times to my 3 mile dogwalk . I just got another pair of the homestead collection, those didn't come with an insole and want to keep them stock' .
