Awesome I’ll check it out. Not a lot of bespoke options in this part of the country unfortunately

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Yea, that’s a model 15. Not sure if you can modify button point on a MTM. I’ll ask though.

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Hi all, Looking for any feedback on rhe below jacket which was a MTM commission from the Armoury and any things I could change for next one. It looks like the front panels are slightly scissoring as left side doesn’t sweep away the same as the right. I think back looks ok - maybe a little too...

    Ongoing Bespoke Projects

I’ve used Eric Jensen for a piece with another in the works and prefer a softer jacket. I’d really love to get a Florentine style jacket made. Who are the better options that visit NYC or other US cities? I see Liverano has a trunk show at the Armoury soon but the cost and wait time is a tad...

The Armoury - Official Affiliate Thread

Does anyone have any experience with the Tailor CAID trunk show and would be willing to share their thoughts/experience? I’m interested in a casual jacket in a tweed or other woolen fabric for wear with jeans and chinos.

    Solito Thread

Does anyone know when they are doing their next trunk show in NYC or elsewhere in the states? Can’t tell dates from the website.

Buzzkill on Sept 20-22. Can’t make that one. Do they do one in Dec as well? Where do you see the dates listed? I have the cross ply in blue. It doesn’t wrinkle as bad as I thought and they drop out fairly well.

Online fabrics would be nice but difficult I imagine given the large number of options. Fabric selection is always the least favorite part of the trunk show for me given the time limitations. Does anyone know what months RJ is typically in NYC for the trunk shows?

Have you done MTM with the in house staff with good result? I got a model 3 and 15 via the trunk show in March with great result.

Still confused on the Still confused about the availability of RJ MTM. Last I asked, not that long ago, they said you needed to come in for a trunk show. Not true now it sounds like? If it is available year around I suppose the benefit to doing the truck show is to be measured by the RJ guys...

Great, much appreciated. Does MTM operate the same way for Ring Jacket but with the added benefit of additional options in customization and sizing?

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Agree, but the issue with the Model 3 is shoulder width. My shoulders are too wide for the 56 and they only make a 58 in a few colors. I have a 58 navy jacket that I love. Maybe I just need to go MTM or MTO.

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Ya, I thought it was borderline. Really like the fabric so I may keep it unless someone tells me it’s a no-go. Thanks for somewhat assuaging my fear. Agreed though, could definitely use an inch or so additional length and a somewhat lower button point.

The Tailors' Thread: Fit Feedback and Alteration Suggestions

Hi all, This is a straight out of the box Model 15 from the Armoury. Is it too short? They don't offer L sizes unfortunately and I'm about 6'2. Any other thoughts appreciated.

Houston RTW or MTM Suit Recommendations

Thanks. They're on the list for a trunk show but they're not local unfortunately.

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
