I have 4 pairs of Whites but put them on very few times. My job needs to have them on/off very often and they are also too stif to drive car. Perhaps chukka with flexible sole might be my answer.- Royteane

From my experience, I ordered all in same size. 55 is the most comfortable, 4811 a little bit tight in width and NW might need to be one width up. All are in 9.5e with the same socks, I'm 10E Brannock.- Royteane

This is my new centennial Walker in BT. I ordered .5 size up to wear thin socks and put orthotic insole in. Result is poor they are not wide enough. Then I try them with socks which I usually wear with SD and SJ. I feel tight in width weather they are half size up. they might not very...- Royteane

They are Clayton's shell not Horween shell. I owned 2 of them and can tell you that they're not as good as Horween in many ways. For me they are not worth for price I paid. Edit: here are pictures http://www.styleforum.net/content/type/61/id/2290275/ People says shell doesn't need much...- Royteane

What is recommended to clean real dirty oil tan workbooks?(dirt mud concrete) Can I just use my bath soap? Clean it often or leave the mud stain on it will better for boots service life?- Royteane

Im not sure which one you prefer between healthy shiny one and sturdy looking one On shiny side I prefer British tan over distressed, you can check shiny distressed smooth on page 173 campare to Neognosis British tan. But for sturdy side, for me it's just distressed and may cxl to be considered...- Royteane

For dressy leather my choice is probably British tan. I always think about @Neognosis Oxford in page 289, it is polishable to shine almost like shell, it also soft and durable as it is a kind of cxl. My poor that Kyle don't allow me using BT for my latest order so I switched to distressed...- Royteane

I own 2 pair of Clayton shell boots. One is SD another one is Nicks Robert. Honestly i m more impressed by Robert. The SD is bigger wider and need thicker sock for well fit. Leather seems to much stretched in lasting process. I need to apply shoe care to hide its over stretched around the ball...- Royteane

Today i tried to put my adidas trainer insole in my Sd and change from mid weight socks to thin Nike running socks. Feel ok but a bit tight ...2 hrs late, i got foot pain so i gave up for it. Other boots with insole may be better option. This combination is my thinest insole and thinest socks.- Royteane

For me, I have 2 reasons. I live in tropical country and dont familiar with snow. I wear sj to snowy hokkaido and my feet got cold from under the sole, so i thought an insole can be very helpful. Secondly before knoowing Whites i wear good insole with Vasque boots. It soft and supportive...- Royteane
