Chan only provide one sleeve at fitting because they take an arm and a leg at payment time! But the service is great, the store very refined, and the location ideal for busy bankers, lawyers and so on. Plus they really do cut and keep the paper patterns.- Penfold

Sorry but you're not going to be in one place long enough to have anything really worthwhile made. You can try the places that do rush jobs in HK, Vietnam and Thailand but that's a huge gamble. High quality work takes time, even if it's a week, and you need to be available for fittings. And...- Penfold

I have a friend, let's be charitable and say he isn't over-fussy, who had a 4.5k suit (fused, off-brand material) from Lapel recently, and it wasn't all that badly cut. They used to advertise quite cheap 2 suits + 2 shirt deals in the window... But I can't believe they'd be up to snuff for...- Penfold

Savile Row( or off the row) on a tight schedule
Have you considered the travelling Hong Kong tailors? WW Chan would be cheaper than a Savile Row house. Quality-wise I think they'd be 85% of the way to Savile Row standards at 30% of the price. They visit Sydney and Melbourne twice a year. Assuming you're not stuck on Emirates/Singapore...- Penfold

Wild guess but that new job which requires 15k's worth of suits and shirts is not at a non-profit, right?
